The Irish Open will be held from 1-4 July in 2027, moving from its September slot due to the Ryder Cup scheduled for 17-19 September. The DP World Tour also announced three returning events: Hong Kong Open, Singapore Open, and Open de Portugal.
The schedule reshuffle stems from the Ryder Cup being staged at Adare Manor in Ireland from 17-19 September, which forced the Irish Open out of its usual September slot. The tournament now sits in early July, directly before the Scottish Open and Open Championship, giving it a prominent position in the European qualifying race that concludes at the British Masters on 22 August.
Rory McIlroy indicated he plans to play the Irish Open at the K Club, though he noted the proximity to the Scottish Open may affect the field. The 2027 season spans 42 tournaments across 24 countries, with the Hong Kong Open, Singapore Open, and Open de Portugal returning to the calendar. The campaign runs from late November 2026 in Sydney through the Dubai finale in November 2027.
