The series' expansion stems from a distribution strategy pairing Samsung TV Plus's 110 million monthly users with Vice TV's linear cable coverage, marking the first season where all seven classes received live streaming and cable options. Individual rounds saw dramatic audience jumps, with Mid-Ohio multiplying its viewership by more than nine times.
The Hooligans docuseries featuring Keanu Reeves helped bridge motorcycle racing into mainstream entertainment. Attendance has risen six consecutive years, with Road America setting back-to-back records, and the season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park is projected to push total attendance past 290,000—a new series benchmark. The 2027 season will mark the second year of the Samsung partnership.
This growth may signal broader mainstream acceptance of motorcycle road racing in North America, a sport historically overshadowed by European and Asian series.
