Barber Vintage Festival to Honor Founder George Barber at 21st Annual Event
The 21st Barber Vintage Festival will take place October 9-11 at Barber Motorsports Park, featuring vintage racing, seminars, and new museum exhibitions. The event celebrates the legacy of founder George Barber, who died in February. Special displays mark Ducati's 100th anniversary and 40 years of the Suzuki GSX-R.
The festival spans three days across the park's 880 acres, blending competitive racing with cultural programming. AHRMA-sanctioned events will run on the main road course alongside dedicated motocross, trials, and cross-country layouts, while the swap meet ranks among the nation's largest vintage gatherings. Attendees can also explore manufacturer demo rides, stunt performances, and the American Motor Drome Company's Wall of Death attraction.
This year's edition carries particular emotional weight following George Barber's passing in February at age 85. The Friday gala features a documentary on his vision and a silent auction benefiting the Discovery and Innovation Motorsports Fund. New museum exhibits commemorate Ducati's centennial and four decades of the Suzuki GSX-R, curated by Ultan Guilfoyle with design work from Pierre Terblanche. Children under 16 enter free with a paying adult, though museum access requires a separate ticket.
