Jets Waive Four, Loan Milic to AHL Manitoba
Winnipeg placed Nikita Chibrikov, Parker Ford, Noah Gregor, and Isaak Phillips on waivers to assign them to Manitoba. The Jets also loaned waiver-exempt goalie Thomas Milic to the Moose. Winnipeg now has 29 players in camp and must cut to 23 by Sept. 28.
Winnipeg continued shaping its roster Friday by moving four skaters to waivers so they can join AHL Manitoba. Chibrikov, Ford, and Phillips each saw NHL time with the Jets last season, while Gregor arrived as a July 1 free-agent addition. Milic, exempt from waivers, was also sent to the Moose after three Jets appearances last season, including his NHL debut in late November.
The moves leave 29 players in camp. Winnipeg must reach 23 by Monday, Sept. 28, the day before the 2026-27 season begins. The Jets are 1-1-1 in preseason and finish exhibition play Friday night against Colorado. Their home and season opener is Friday, Oct. 2, against Boston.
