Alcoba Claims Maiden WorldSSP Win in Red-Flagged Cremona Race One
Jeremy Alcoba captured his first FIM Supersport World Championship race win in a red-flagged 13-lap Race One at Cremona, finishing 0.568 seconds ahead on his Kawasaki. Albert Arenas placed second, with Filippo Farioli completing the podium in third. Arenas now holds a 77-point championship lead over Valentin Debise, who finished fourth.
Alcoba’s Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 beat Arenas by 0.568 seconds after 13 laps at Cremona. Arenas, on a Yamaha YZF-R9, led the points with 331; Debise, fourth on a ZXMOTO 820RR, had 254, while Jaume Masia sat third on 219. Farioli’s third was his first WorldSSP podium and came at his home round.
