Pin Vision Teams With CourseRev.ai for U.S. Expansion

Pin Vision will move into the American market through a collaboration with CourseRev.ai. CourseRev.ai’s current partner clubs will be first to receive the rollout, while Pin Vision’s GPS and course-management tools are already used at more than 100 clubs across Italy and the UK. The arrangement connects current pin locations and speed-of-play data with tee-time booking, but the companies have not yet named the first U.S. clubs or a launch date.
Pin Vision's system depends on greenkeeping crews recording each new hole position after a flag move, so golfers can receive yardages to the cup. Its maps also identify hazards and teeing areas, though accuracy relies on clubs keeping those locations updated.
The platform includes pace-of-play monitoring, letting staff detect delays and message groups while players compare their round with a club target. Over 40,000 golfers use it in Italy and the UK, including at Marco Simone, a 2023 Ryder Cup host. CourseRev.ai plans to use the maps in course visuals and booking suggestions, with Teemeup.ai set to show live pin positions.
Golfers and club staff may see more precise distances and pace awareness, potentially improving round flow and booking choices. Course operators could gain data-driven insights, though benefits depend on staff updating pin positions and clubs adopting the system. The U.S. expansion may influence how American clubs integrate GPS, tee-time platforms, and pace management, but without named venues or launch timing, near-term effects remain uncertain.
