The 25-year-old had been central to HSV’s early season, contributing two goals and two assists in five outings. He was involved in four of Hamburg’s five goals, including both in the Cologne win, and scored twice in the DFB Cup first round. He will sit out the rest of the international window and is doubtful for the Hoffenheim trip.
