Juventus Likely to Make Vicario Deal Permanent
Guglielmo Vicario has performed well enough at Juventus that the club is expected to trigger a permanent purchase. Vicario arrived as a late candidate in Juventus’ search for a successor to Michele Di Gregorio. Before landing him, the club explored moves for Alisson, Emiliano Martinez, and Zion Suzuki. Tottenham had frozen him out, but he has since shown reliability in Turin, including strong displays against Milan and Atalanta. His only difficult outing came in the chaotic close of the Sassuolo match.
A permanent transfer would cost Juventus €8M, and a three-year agreement is already prepared. Even with Norberto Neto set to arrive, Juventus continues to monitor Frosinone’s Lorenzo Palmisani. They considered him last summer but prioritized other needs, and his valuation and competition have since grown.
Juventus supporters may see stability in goal if Vicario stays, while the low fee could let the club spend elsewhere. Tottenham may benefit from a modest sale, and Frosinone could gain attention or leverage if Palmisani remains a target.
