Seider and Stutzle Launch German-Language NHL Podcast

Detroit defenseman Moritz Seider and Ottawa center Tim Stutzle have started a podcast called Seider & Stutzle. The show will be in German and will cover the NHL, Germany’s DEL, and the 2027 IIHF World Championship. It is the second podcast hosted by active NHL players, following the Tkachuk brothers’ Wingmen.
Moritz Seider, a Detroit defenseman, and Tim Stutzle, an Ottawa center, are both German and will conduct their new show in German for listeners who speak the language. A YouTube trailer says they plan to cover the NHL, Germany’s top pro league, the DEL, and the 2027 IIHF World Championship in Dusseldorf, Gelsenkirchen, and Mannheim.
The program follows Wingmen, the podcast from Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, which began in late 2025. That show drew attention after Keith Tkachuk’s April appearance and later reporting by Elliotte Friedman about friction in Ottawa’s locker room. Seider posted 60 points last season; Stutzle led Ottawa with 83.
The podcast could give German-speaking hockey fans a more direct, personality-driven window into the NHL and Germany’s domestic game. It may strengthen cross-border interest ahead of the 2027 world championship, while Ottawa supporters might listen closely for any team-related remarks. For the players, hosting could expand their media profiles and commercial reach, though it may also invite added scrutiny if candid comments travel beyond the intended audience.
