Tech3 Confirms Fernández and Daniel for 2027 Moto3 Lineup
Tech3 has announced Adrián Fernández and American Kristian Daniel Jr. as its Moto3 riders for 2027. Fernández returns to the team after racing for it in 2022 and has more than 100 Grand Prix starts. Daniel, 17, will make his full-time Grand Prix debut after finishing fourth in the 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
Tech3 has named Adrián Fernández and Kristian Daniel Jr. for its 2027 Moto3 campaign. Fernández, a 22-year-old from Madrid, previously raced with Tech3 in 2022. Since joining Leopard in 2023, he has taken one victory, seven podiums and three poles, including a first Moto3 podium in 2024 and seventh overall in 2025.
Daniel, 17, was born in Los Angeles and lives in Barcelona. He placed fourth in the 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, earned pole at the Red Bull Ring finale, and will begin his first full Grand Prix season.
The announcement could broaden Moto3’s audience, especially in the United States, where Daniel may become a full-season rider to follow. Young American racers might see a clearer pathway from the Rookies Cup to world championship competition. Fernández’s return may also give Spanish fans and Tech3 supporters a familiar title contender to track. Sponsors and broadcasters could benefit if Daniel’s presence draws new viewers, though the actual impact will depend on results and coverage.
