The October 3, 2026 edition of AEW Collision took place at Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Kofi, a Trios Champion, stepped into singles competition for AEW against Lee Moriarty, the ROH Men's Pure Champion. Austin Creed accompanied Kofi and later joined the commentary desk, while Moriarty had Shane Taylor Promotion in his corner.
The bout mixed technical exchanges with high-flying offense. Kofi ultimately won after an enzuiguri. The show also featured Jon Moxley vs. Jake Doyle in a Continental Title Eliminator, Bang Bang Gang against Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Claudio Castagnoli, Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata, Mark Davis vs. Adam Priest, and Divine Dominion in action.
Kofi's AEW singles debut may draw attention from longtime wrestling fans who followed his career, while Moriarty's Pure Champion status could raise his profile among ROH viewers. A high-profile Collision card featuring Moxley and other stars may boost streaming or live-event interest in the Kentucky market. The outcome could influence future booking and fan discussions, but its broader social effect is likely limited to the wrestling community and its surrounding media ecosystem.
