Aprilia's Jorge Martin leads on 333 points after Motegi, where he took pole with a record lap, a Sprint rostrum, and second in the Grand Prix. Marco Bezzecchi also reached the main-race podium. Honda HRC fields Luca Marini alongside development rider Aleix Espargaro; Marini previously finished fifth in Indonesia in 2025.
