Michelin to Release Six-Part Documentary on Its 11 MotoGP Seasons

Michelin is marking the end of its current MotoGP era with a six-part documentary called “Racing on Trust – A Decade of Michelin in MotoGP.” The series includes interviews with 25 riders, former riders, team managers, championship officials, journalists, and Michelin Motorsport staff. The first two episodes arrive October 8, 2026, on Michelin’s YouTube channels, and the remaining four will follow weekly on Thursdays.
Michelin returned to MotoGP in 2016 and is now in its last season with the series. The documentary covers those 11 years through six episodes, with the opening two arriving October 8, 2026, on Michelin’s YouTube channels. The other four are scheduled weekly on Thursdays at 2 p.m.
Twenty-five voices appear, including current and former riders, team managers, championship officials, journalists, and Michelin Motorsport staff. Valentino Rossi, Marc Márquez, and Johann Zarco are among those sharing accounts, with topics ranging from Rossi’s career ending to Márquez’s recovery and Zarco’s Le Mans win.
The documentary may give MotoGP followers a deeper view of tire technology and competition, potentially strengthening appreciation for behind-the-scenes work. It could also benefit Michelin’s public image and YouTube channels by reaching motorcycle enthusiasts beyond race weekends. Fans, riders, teams, and industry workers may see their contributions recognized, while newer viewers could learn how trust and technical collaboration shape elite racing.
