It marked his fifth pole of 2026 and Yamaha's seventh. Lucas Mahias came within 0.046 seconds, while Tom Booth-Amos completed the front row, 0.099 behind.
Valentin Debise, second in the championship, fell early and ended 17th, leaving him on row six. Points leader Albert Arenas qualified ninth. Oli Bayliss, Ondrej Vostatek, Filippo Farioli, wildcard Eric Fernandez and Dominique Aegerter filled fourth through eighth.
