Albert Arenas secured the 2026 FIM Supersport World Championship at Circuito Estoril, adding to his 2020 Moto3 title. The Spanish rider became the second competitor to win world titles in both Moto3 and WorldSSP, after Sandro Cortese. Arenas, riding for AS BLU CRU Racing Team, had three wins and 16 podiums and led Valentin Debise by 89 points with three races remaining.
