Marco Bezzecchi won the 27-lap MotoGP race at Pertamina Mandalika Circuit on Sunday, finishing 4.260 seconds ahead of Raul Fernandez. Jorge Martin placed third and moved back atop the championship standings with 355 points, two ahead of Marc Marquez. Bezzecchi remains third on 309 points.
Bezzecchi’s victory at Pertamina Mandalika Circuit came over 27 laps, with the Aprilia Racing rider finishing 4.260 seconds clear. Raul Fernandez took second for SuperFile Trackhouse Aprilia despite two broken fingers, while Jorge Martin completed the podium.
Aprilia filled the top four, with Ai Ogura fourth and Pedro Acosta fifth on a KTM. Martin’s third-place finish returned him to the championship lead on 355 points, two ahead of Marc Marquez, who was sixth. Bezzecchi sits third on 309.
Bezzecchi’s win and Martin’s regained lead could intensify fan interest in the remaining MotoGP rounds, especially in Italy, Spain, and Indonesia. The Mandalika event may boost local tourism and visibility for Indonesian motorsport, while Aprilia’s strong result could affect team morale, sponsor attention, and rider market narratives. For supporters, the tighter title fight may increase engagement, but outcomes remain uncertain.
