Red Bull Signs Multi-Year Deal as MotoGP Australian GP Title Partner

MotoGP has agreed a multi-year deal making Red Bull the title sponsor of the Australian Grand Prix. The inaugural Adelaide race is set for 12-14 November 2027, with Red Bull continuing in the role for 2028. The 4.13-kilometer, 15-turn city circuit reworks parts of Adelaide’s former Formula 1 layout and will be the penultimate round of the 2027 MotoGP season.
Red Bull will attach its name to Australia’s MotoGP round when Adelaide stages its first race on 12-14 November 2027. The title partnership carries into 2028, and the 2027 event is slated as the penultimate championship round.
The 4.13-kilometer, 15-turn city circuit adapts sections of Adelaide’s former Formula 1 course, including Stag Corner, Rundle Road, Brewery Bend and Dequetteville Terrace. MotoGP’s Carlos Ezpeleta and South Australia’s premier, Peter Malinauskas, both endorsed the agreement.
The partnership could raise Adelaide’s profile and draw visitors during race week, potentially benefiting hospitality, tourism and local traders. Motorsport fans across Australia may gain easier access to a top-tier event, while Red Bull-backed activities might reach younger audiences. Residents and commuters near the street circuit could face temporary noise, road closures and crowding. Whether the event delivers lasting social benefit may depend on transport planning, community engagement and how well commercial excitement is balanced with everyday city life.
