The season-ending round at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto runs 16–18 October. Nicolo Bulega leads the standings on 664 points, a single-season record, with Iker Lecuona second on 518 and Yari Montella third on 290 after taking the Independent Riders’ crown. Alex Lowes and Sam Lowes remain separated by 12 points in the fight for fourth.
Jerez history favors Ducati, which has 17 wins there; Kawasaki has four, Yamaha three and BMW one. Bautista and Bulega share the active-rider record with five Jerez victories each. For Spanish fans, Lecuona, Bautista and Vierge could heighten interest and national pride, while Bulega’s record chase may attract wider motorsport attention. The event may also strengthen WorldSBK’s visibility as its champion and independent title are celebrated.
