Golfmanager App to Show Live Pin Locations After Pin Vision Integration
A new partnership links Pin Vision's course data with Golfmanager, allowing flag positions entered by greenkeepers to sync automatically into the club's existing app. Players at participating venues will see yardages, maps of holes and greens, and pace-of-play information without staff duplicating entries. Pin Vision reports use at 80 clubs in Europe and more than 50,000 golfer downloads.
Pin Vision, an Italian GPS company, has recently placed its course data inside other platforms rather than only its own app. It partnered with HowDidiDo and intelligentgolf in July, then entered the U.S. via CourseRev.ai in September.
The Golfmanager tie-up follows that pattern. Greenkeepers still enter each flag position, but the data then reaches players through Golfmanager. Pin Vision also launched pace-of-play tools in July, helping managers identify slow spots and compare golfers with a club target.
For club staff, the integration could reduce duplicate admin, potentially freeing time for course care or service. Golfers may get more reliable pin distances and pace information, which could improve round flow and satisfaction. Broader effects likely remain modest, since adoption depends on clubs using both systems and greenkeepers entering accurate flag positions. It may also encourage more connected course technology, but not necessarily change access or cost for everyday players.
