Rachel Herzog's Path to the Devils Broadcast Booth
Rachel Herzog is the host and analyst for New Jersey Devils broadcasts on MSG Networks. She played four NCAA Division I seasons as a defender at St. Cloud State before working as a sports reporter and anchor at WDAY-TV in Fargo. Rachel Herzog grew up in Oakdale, Minnesota, attended Hill-Murray School, and won two Minnesota Class 2A state championships there in 2014 and 2015. She then spent four seasons at St. Cloud State, appearing in 130 games as a defender and recording 17 points, with 125 blocks across her first three years.
Before joining MSG Networks, she worked at WDAY-TV in Fargo from December 2022 through August 2024, covering high school and college athletics. MSG announced her on September 12, 2024; she succeeded Erika Wachter and returned for the 2025-26 season.
