UAE Clubs See Membership Surge Ahead of DP World Tour Finale

Viya said its UAE clubs have drawn more members while the country gets ready for the DP World Tour's closing events. Yas Links and Saadiyat Beach saw a 30% increase, Dubai Creek was up 25%, and Jumeirah Golf Estates has reached capacity with a waiting list. The Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship runs Nov. 5-8 at Yas Links, with the DP World Tour Championship set for Nov. 12-15 at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Viya’s club network includes Yas Links Abu Dhabi and Jumeirah Golf Estates, and its figures show 2026 membership at Yas Links and Saadiyat Beach rising by 30%. Dubai Creek’s membership is 25% higher than the same point in 2025, while Jumeirah Golf Estates has no available memberships and keeps a waitlist. Yas Acres Golf & Country Club also recorded higher income from green fees.
The November schedule begins with the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship at Yas Links on 5–8 November, then the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates on 12–15 November. Seventy eligible competitors begin in Abu Dhabi, with fifty continuing to Dubai; the two tournaments award 21,000 ranking points combined.
The membership rise could affect local golfers, clubs and nearby hospitality businesses. Full capacity and waitlists may make access harder or more expensive for some residents, while tournament visitors could support tourism and service jobs. Increased demand may also encourage clubs to invest in facilities and tee-time management, though the benefits may be uneven across different groups and communities.
