New Jersey Loses Seamus Casey for Two Months After Knee Procedure
New Jersey announced that Seamus Casey had knee surgery and will be sidelined eight to 10 weeks. The injury occurred in a Sept. 26 preseason game against the Rangers, costing him a chance to make the roster while Johnathan Kovacevic is hurt. Coach Sheldon Keefe said the procedure went well, and Declan Chisholm is expected to partner with Brenden Dillon in Casey's absence.
